Data Driven Approach Gives Milwaukee Store a Marketing Edge
GOLDEN, COLO., March 31, 2021—Ascent360 is pleased to announce that Craig Husar, Wisconsin’s #1 Recommended Jeweler, has adopted the Ascent360 Data Driven Marketing Platform. Standard integration with The Edge POS solution along with user-friendly customization capabilities made Ascent360 an ideal fit for the ten-person Craig Husar team.
In recent years, Craig Husar has worked hard to provide an optimal experience to customers. To celebrate the success of the multi-generational Husar family’s 50th business anniversary, Craig Husar designed and created a 7,500 square foot freestanding showroom. It features the EngageBar™, Tic-Tok Shop™, and Award-Winning Design Atelier. The showroom’s floor-toceiling windows provide unobstructed views of a creek and forest preserve. The center islands, when viewed from above, form two infinity symbols. High above the engagement ring bar, is the “Star of Husar”, the largest star-shaped chandelier in the Midwest. Its “Sister Star” sits atop the Rockefeller Plaza Christmas tree in New York City. The Star features 2816 individually cut Swarovski crystals suspended from 480 stainless steel wires. The store even offers a selection of fine whiskey and bourbon to enjoy while shopping.
Craig Husar’s attention to detail extends to the store’s marketing. He says he began looking for a new marketing platform because the store’s emails had a very low open rate. “The content that we were sending out wasn’t relevant to the majority of people who were receiving it,” explained Husar. “We needed a way to get a clearer picture of customers so we could connect with them on a personal level. The Ascent360 platform saves us a tremendous amount of time by helping us understand and segment customers so we can send them more relevant emails.”
Husar says that Ascent360 is proving an ideal complement to his small but mighty team because automated campaigns, such as new customer, birthday and anniversary campaigns, make it possible to continually reach out to customers on a personal level without overstretching staff. “We’re especially interested in using Ascent360 to help keep bridal customers engaged, since they usually take their time making purchase decisions,” said Husar.
Scott Buelter, CEO at Ascent360 noted that this is exactly the kind of challenge Ascent360 is designed for: “Jewelry is a very personal choice, so great marketing should reflect the individual tastes of customers. Ascent360 makes that possible for jewelers of all sizes.”
